Building Inspection by the Authorities
During construction the building inspector carries out inspections twice. The first time is at the beginning stage, of excavation, after completion of placement of steel reinforcement in the formwork, before concreting of foundations and the second after completion of the project.
After inspection the Building Inspector issues a certificate of compliance to the building permit. This is the final step before the building is connected to public infrastructure, such as electric, water, communication, swage and gas.
The project manager in close collaboration with the Supervising Engineer, appointed by the authorities, is the best way to ensure the proper completion of the project without surprises at inspections.
